A Swedish journalist once asked Chuck Hall how a person goes about becoming a Blues legend. His answer was simple, “You play the Blues, and you play them well.” The virtuosic guitarist has obviously heeded his own advice.
Mr. Hall was recently at Fervor’s headquarters for an interview with Tempe 11. Mary Fowler, of Tempe Center for the Arts, spoke with the guitarist about his illustrious career and headlining the Center’s upcoming Songwriter’s Showcase concert on May 23rd. Tempe Reggae legend and the show’s host, Walt Richardson, will hand-pick the opening lineup for the Chuck Hall event which will be filmed by Tempe 11 and expected to air on PBS, KAET, in early 2015.
Fervor is thrilled to re-release 2 albums of Hall’s earlier work, Chuck Hall & The Brick Wall and Chuck Hall Band. The music is now available for pre-order on iTunes. Ticket’s to the May 23rd Chuck Hall concert are available: Here. See you there!Read More
