We are extremely pleased to announce esteemed keyboardist and composer Pat Daugherty has signed his extensive catalog with Fervor Records. The collection includes all six releases from Daugherty’s successful band New York Electric Piano, as well as Pat’s 1980’s Boston based Punk/Prog outfit Vasco Da Gama. New York Electric Piano has topped CMJ’s Jazz Charts with multiple releases and the band continues to headline premiere NYC venues.
To describe Daugherty’s playing as phenomenal is an understatement. His grasp of the piano and composition is invigorating to any music aficionado. Pat has toured with Gil Scott-Heron, The Martha Graham Dance Co. and Banyan. His compositions appear in feature films, TV shows and are heard 7 nights a week with the Blue Man Group. Pat has also recorded with Snoop Dogg and Princess Superstar to name a few. Mr. Daugherty’s vast catalog was formerly with Bug Music but we are excited that it has found a new home at Fervor Records.
In the golden age of Nashville it’s easy to see why Country icons like Chet Atkins, Floyd Cramer and Eddy Arnold took a quick liking to the young, charismatic Canadian Rhett Davis. Armed with a guitar, a few songs and a VW bug, the talented singer/songwriter made the trek from British Columbia to Music City. Fortunately, he also possessed the talent and moxie to make dreams become reality. Rhett’s amazing career has landed him gigs not only with the aforementioned luminaries, but also with the likes of Barbara Mandrell, Rich Little, Gallager and Ronnie Prophet to name a few. Rhett scored hits with Eddie Arnold and landed a Top 20 Country Canadian Chart Topper of his own along the way. This collection of Rhett’s 1970s Country tinged crossover Nashville gems even includes his well known hit I Am The Eagle. Experience the magic of Rhett Davis and re-live the 1970s with I’ll Help Someone Fall In Love Tonight. Click iTunes and add to your playlist!Read More
