Legendary Penthouse magazine founder, Bob Guccione, is immortalized in the new EPIX documentary, Filthy Gorgeous: The Bob Guccione Story. Adding to the excitement is Fervor Records’ Connie Conway and Sandy Szigeti who have both landed songs in the film. Conway’s, Nobody But Jesus, is an unreleased gem from the Fervor vintage vaults, is heard in a scene between Jerry Falwell and Guccione. Szigeti’s early 1970s classic, I Couldn’t Say, plays over a Vietnam scene. The new flick promises to be a fascinating exposition into the lifestyle of a notorious provocateur, renowned visionary, recluse and man of action. Filthy Gorgeous: The Bob Guccione Story makes it’s US premier 11.8.13.
