Bradley Rust Gray’s Jack and Diane

Bradley Rust Gray’s latest independent film Jack & Diane is slowly trickling out to cinemas this Fall, after several postponements.  Starring Juno Temple and The Runaways‘ Riley Keough, the film documents an intense love story between two young girls who meet in NYC while one of them is visiting from the UK.

Originally hinted to be a werewolf-horror piece, the film features interwoven graphic animated ‘mutation’ segments by the Quay Brothers.  The somewhat grotesque endoscopic sequences suggest a metaphor for the ‘monstrous feelings’ aroused inside the young teenage lovers.

Distributed by Magnolia Pictures, Jack & Diane features a track from Fervor Records artist Tarik NuClothes, Pimp Cup. The track is from the Fervor Records release Emperor’s NuClothes, which is available on iTunes.
