Bob McGilpin + Castle = Disco Bliss

ABC’s long running crime drama Castle will feature a 1979 Disco gem from Billboard chart topper Bob McGilpin. Mr. McGilpin had a string of #1 hits at the peak of the Disco craze on Casablanca, RCA and Butterfly/MCA. Fervor Records recently acquired a treasure-trove of the artist’s incredible recordings from the era. The label has landed McGilpin’s tune, Let The Music Take You High, in episode 620 which airs Monday, April 21st.

Hans Olson is one of Fervor’s most licensed artists. His ties to the label trace back to their 1990 inaugural release and he’s been a fixture ever since. Hans’ latest release, Dust To Dust doesn’t disappoint. His rootsy Americana effort is garnering just as much interest as his previous endeavors. On Tuesday, April 1st, ABC’s Trophy Wife will feature Olson’s tune Western Flower in episode 115. When You Come To Me, The Neighbors

The lush orchestrations of the late great vocalist Carl Coccomo will be heard in ABC’s science fiction sitcom, The Neighbors, this Friday March, 14th. Mr. Coccomo was dubbed, “The Singing Sicilian” by Frank Sinatra who was a big fan of Carl’s distinctive vocal stylings.
