American Ultra Has One More Day

American Ultra poster  Cult Hits 70s Gold Masterpiece of Love smlLionsgate’s new stoner action flick American Ultra hits theaters this week. Along for the ride is a trio of classics from Fervor Records. Leading the charge is former Chicago frontman Bill Champlin’s 1980’s R&B infused masterpiece One More Day, also joining the fray is the 1979 Marina Rock gem Love Enough by Bill Burgess. Last, but certainly not least, is Jay Ramsey’s funky 1978 epic Boogie Mama. Check out Love Enough on iTunes and/or Spotify and do yourself a favor and go out to the movies this weekend for American Ultra.

Former Lead Singer of Chicago, Bill Champlin, Lands Tune in AMC’s Low Winter Sun

Low-winter-sun-posterLow Winter Sun, an AMC crime drama, airs on September 8th with a cut from the Fervor archives featuring the killer vocals of Mr. Bill Champlin. The Grammy Award winning Champlin has penned hits for Earth Wind and Fire, George Benson, Heather Headley and the band Chicago of which he was also a longstanding member. The multi-instrumentalist and vocalist got his start with the Bay area band that carried his name, The Sons of Champlin.
