Fox Searchlight’s newest comedy, Enough Said, out today, features a song from international ax slinger Craig Erickson. Starring James Gandolfini (The Sopranos) in one of his last roles and Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Seinfeld, The New Adventures of Old Christine). The film promises laughs and poignancy as a single mother newly returned to the dating game suddenly finds herself mixed up with someone else’s ex.
Craig Erickson has recorded a half dozen albums for the Shrapnel/Blues Bureau label propelling the admiration of guitarists worldwide. I Was Wrong, by blues guitarist extraordinaire Craig Erickson appears in tomorrow night’s episode of Justified (FX), ep 406 “Foot Chase”.
Erickson, whose illustrious career has spanned decades, brings Texas Roadhouse Blues to a virtuosic level. He was originally signed to Shrapnel Records after recording a series of heavy Blues-Rock releases for a variety of labels in the 90’s (Blues Bureau Int’l, Mascot/Provogue), including a co-writing/collaborative effort with Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple/Trapeze).
Erickson has toured extensively throughout the U.S. and Europe and performed with numerous icons, including Buddy Miles and Elvin Bishop.
